This is a big loss for the world. He was a gifted man with a brilliant mind. He has influenced so much about how we use software and computers today. I believe there is no aspect of computers and mobile devices that has not directly benefited from his work. Definitely one of the greatest is gone. Rest in peace  Dennis Ritchie
